Neighborhoods
Syracuse is very well defined as far as the cultural makeup of its neighborhoods go. It is unlike downtown Toronto real estate in that people with different backgrounds tend to stick to certain areas. So, you will find the Jewish population residing in the eastern part of the city, African Americans to the south, German and Italians on the north, and other Europeans on the west side of the city. As you might expect in a largely historic city, Syracuse prices are very reasonable compared to the cities around it.
